Welcome to the BSA page on the Berkswell School Website

 

What is the BSA?

All parents and guardians of children attending the school, as well as teachers and governors, are members of Berkswell School Association (BSA). The Association is represented by a Committee of up to 15 members, currently all parents, who are committed to running fun and innovative events that raise funds for the betterment of Berkswell School. BSA meets once a month to plan and organise fundraising events. Each year BSA events raise upwards of £10,000 to allocate to Berkswell School initiatives.

 

 

What are some examples of past and future events?

Over the past 12 months BSA has organised and run a Sponsored Walk, Summer Carnival 2008, Berkswell Circus, Christmas Fayre, Quiz Night, Movie Premier, Berkswell Ice Rink, Concert In A Day and Fit for Life, as well as Christmas Parties, Cake Raffles and KS1 & KS2 Discos.

In the coming months BSA is planning a number of events including Movie Premier 2 and Summer Fayre 2009

How is the money used?

A sample of recent initiatives funded by the BSA includes:

• Oak Lodge Outdoor Classroom & Store
